One-third of our life goes by in sleep. Nevertheless, the only evaluations of this area were related to dreams and night symptoms of physical diseases. Fortunately, there is a sleep fellowship among the specialized medical fields, which specifically evaluates disorders and diseases caused during, before or after sleep.
In this specialty, which is taught after passing the specialized courses of neurology, lung, ear and throat, or work medicine, and physicians specifically examine patients with sleep-related disorders for more than a year. One of the features of this diseases is lack of awareness of patients, and only their spouse knew about the disease. For instance, kicking, restlessness during sleep, sleepwalking, unnatural eating and snoring are symptoms reported by the spouse of individuals.

One of the most important diseases during sleep is respiratory diseases, which is the most common indication of sleep test and is often manifested through snoring. In the past, snoring was the sign of deep sleep. You might think this as well, but you should know that snoring can be a sign of obstructive sleep apnea, which leads to various complications.
In our country, more than three million individuals are diagnosed with sleep apnea, and one-third of men of our country snore.
If you have the following symptoms, ask your physician to examine you in terms of sleep apnea:

Ø Reports of severely impaired or difficulty breathing, which scares the relatives, leading to the awakening of the person to breath
